Medical Director, US Medical Affairs – Alzheimer’s Disease

US – Remote

Warman O'Brien is delighted to partner with a leading global pharmaceutical company to appoint a Medical Director, US Medical Affairs who will provide strategic medical leadership across its Alzheimer’s disease portfolio.

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • A PhD, PharmD, MD or equivalent advanced scientific degree

  • 8+ years’ experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry

  • Strong expertise in Alzheimer’s disease, neurology or neurodegenerative disorders

  • In-house Medical Affairs experience in a strategic decision-making capacity

  • Experience developing and executing medical affairs plans, including real-world evidence and post-marketing studies

  • Knowledge of medical education, research grants, advisory boards, publications and scientific communications

  • The ability to provide medical input into product strategy and lifecycle-management planning

  • Experience engaging with KOLs, healthcare professionals and external scientific stakeholders

  • Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and ICH guidelines

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, budgets, vendors, timelines and resources

  • Previous mentoring or people-management experience
