  • £Competitive
  • ., United States
  • Permanent

We are supporting a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company in the search for an experienced Statistical Programmer on a 12-month contract basis.

The organisation is developing small molecule precision medicines for kidney and metabolic disease and is at an inflection point, with multiple studies initiating or ramping over the next year following positive Phase 2 data. This is a senior, autonomous role suited to someone comfortable operating with limited oversight in a lean, fast-moving environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and validating SDTM and ADaM datasets in line with CDISC standards
  • Producing tables, listings, and figures (TLFs) to support clinical study reporting
  • Building datasets and specifications from scratch rather than working to established templates
  • Partnering with biostatistics and clinical teams across concurrent studies
  • Supporting QC processes and ensuring outputs meet regulatory expectations

What we're looking for

  • MS or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative discipline
  • 8+ years of statistical programming experience
  • Strong hands-on SAS programming, including CDISC dataset build experience
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and manage competing study timelines
  • Experience in biotech, pharma, or CRO settings

Nice to have

  • Experience in chronic kidney disease (CKD) or APOL1-mediated kidney disease (AMKD)
  • Exposure to pivotal trial preparation or regulatory submission environments
  • West coast preference for location
