Solutions Architect

A leading Pharmaceutical are looking for a candidate who will be responsible for working cross-functionally to understand architecture needs by multiple business units. For the candidate to be effective in this position, you must feel comfortable owning the entire architecture development process from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define architecture vision and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable application solutions.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms.
• Collaborate with business and digital teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across the development lifecycle, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Oversee integration of applications to ensure seamless operations and data consistency.

Essential Experience & Skills:

• Significant experience in developing, integrating, and architecting digital and AI solutions in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
• Strong background in software development (Java, .NET, Python), databases/data lakes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep knowledge of agile architecture, microservices, API design, and modern development methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and emerging technologies.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, SAFe) beneficial.

Preferred Experience:

• Cloud-agnostic data and AIOps platforms (Databricks, Snowflake).
• Experience with life sciences platforms (e.g., Veeva) and enterprise platforms (Adobe, SAP, M365, ServiceNow).
• Experience implementing Data Mesh strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.

Additional Information:

• Permanent role, based in Warsaw, Poland.
• Hybrid working model with office presence required.
• Candidates must be within commuting distance of the office.
