Principal Statistical Programmer I | Leading CRO | Remote or Hybrid (Warsaw) | Poland

An established, fast-growing CRO is expanding its statistical programming team and is looking for Principal Statistical Programmers to join from anywhere in Poland. The role can be fully remote or hybrid in Warsaw.

Your role
As a Principal Statistical Programmer, you will take a senior leadership and hands-on role, overseeing complex projects and providing technical guidance to project teams. You will resolve high-level programming challenges, ensure quality of regulatory submission deliverables, and mentor junior programmers.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading statistical programming projects of high complexity
  • Developing, programming, and reviewing SDTM and ADaM datasets
  • Programming and reviewing TLGs for CSRs, ISS, and ISE
  • Performing CDISC and Pinnacle 21 checks
  • Preparing and reviewing define.xml, table of contents, aCRFs, and other regulatory documentation
  • Supporting regulatory submissions and client interactions
  • Leading improvements in macros, utilities, and programming standard
  • Mentoring and providing technical guidance to less experienced Statistical Programmers

What we’re looking for
  • Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Computer Science, or similar (or Bachelor’s with extensive experience)
  • 8+ years of experience in clinical trial statistical programming (Senior Statistical Programmer II level or above)
  • Strong hands-on experience with SDTM, ADaM, TLGs, and CDISC standards
  • Advanced SAS programming skills
  • Experience in CRO or pharmaceutical environments
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and mentor junior staff
  • Excellent problem-solving, organisation, and time management skills
