Your role

Your role
As a Principal Statistical Programmer, you will take a senior leadership and hands-on role, overseeing complex projects and providing technical guidance to project teams. You will resolve high-level programming challenges, ensure quality of regulatory submission deliverables, and mentor junior programmers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading statistical programming projects of high complexity
- Developing, programming, and reviewing SDTM and ADaM datasets
- Programming and reviewing TLGs for CSRs, ISS, and ISE
- Performing CDISC and Pinnacle 21 checks
- Preparing and reviewing define.xml, table of contents, aCRFs, and other regulatory documentation
- Supporting regulatory submissions and client interactions
- Leading improvements in macros, utilities, and programming standard
- Mentoring and providing technical guidance to less experienced Statistical Programmers
What we’re looking for
- Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Computer Science, or similar (or Bachelor’s with extensive experience)
- 8+ years of experience in clinical trial statistical programming (Senior Statistical Programmer II level or above)
- Strong hands-on experience with SDTM, ADaM, TLGs, and CDISC standards
- Advanced SAS programming skills
- Experience in CRO or pharmaceutical environments
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and mentor junior staff
- Excellent problem-solving, organisation, and time management skills
