Principal Biostatistician – Innovative International Pharma– UK - Hybrid / Fully Remote

We have partnered with a renowned global pharma, who are looking for exceptional Principal  Statisticians to join their pioneering and innovative team within Global Statistics and Real-World Data Science Function.

Desirable Experience for this role:

 
  • Working as part of cross-functional, global teams
  • Acting independently as a Study Statistician / Medical Affairs Statistician / Exploratory Statistician / Regional Statistician Lead or Lead Product Statistician.
  • Researching innovative solutions and training other statisticians
  • Undertaking and overseeing complex/novel work in an established area such as clinical/ observational studies, MA tactic or Biomarker & PK/PD Analyses.
  • Acting as a Global Statistical Lead for an early or back up asset or as a Methodology expert validating the execution of complex techniques.
How will you be a success?
 
  • Significant experience of applying statistical methods in biomedical research, Pharma, CRO, Academia or the Healthcare industry, gained on a global basis.
  • Advanced and broad knowledge of statistical methods, along with an understanding of industry practices related to the statistical analysis of clinical and biomarker data.
  • In-depth familiarity with processes and procedures in data management and programming
  • Good knowledge of medical literature, clinical, regulatory and commercial landscape
  • Knowledge and skills in SAS
  • The ability to understand, implement, and explain complex statistical methodology,


Qualifications:
 
  • PhD or M.S in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related scientific field
  • Evidence of statistical leadership and a proven track record of scientific achievement and project influence. Analytical mind-set, intellectual curiosity, eager for continuous learning and passionate about translating data into business-critical evidence. Ability to work autonomously as well as to work in interdisciplinary contexts outside statistics. Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English language are required.
  • Proficiency in SAS required.
