We are supporting a global pharmaceutical organisation in the search for an experienced Statistical Programmer to join a specialist biometrics function on a contract basis. This role sits within the Independent Safety and Statistical Analysis Team (iSAT) - a specialist group responsible for independent oversight of statistical and safety analyses across clinical development programmes.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering statistical programming support for clinical trial analysis and reporting activities
• Developing and validating datasets, tables, listings, and figures (TLFs)
• Supporting independent safety and statistical analysis workstreams within iSAT
• Collaborating with biostatistics and clinical teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Contributing to programming standards, QC processes, and regulatory compliance activities

What we're looking for

• Strong hands-on SAS programming experience in a clinical or pharma environment
• R programming experience within clinical research or pharmaceutical settings
• Experience supporting clinical trial analysis within biotech, pharma, or CRO settings
• Solid understanding of clinical data standards and reporting requirements

Nice to have

• Experience supporting safety analyses or independent statistical review activities
• Familiarity with regulatory submission environments
• Previous exposure to global clinical development teams
