Senior Medical Director- Top-5 CRO- Oncology Therapeutic Strategy Lead

A market-leading CRO is looking for an experienced Senior Medical Director to lead the Oncology Therapeutic Area Strategy. They currently operate globally across all phases, collaborating with high numbers of biotech and pharma sponsors.

In this position, you will be leading the therapeutic area strategy, providing insights on clinical trials' long-term plans and direction, and being the first point of contact for sponsors. This is a highly strategic position, in which you will help the company select which clinical trials to work on and plan a clinical development strategy for them.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• MD, board certification preferred
• Extensive previous experience in Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, or Pharmacovigilance for Oncology/Hematology Clinical Trials
• The capacity to liaise with sponsors to agree on Medical Strategy and participate in bid defense meetings.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in Business Development, Project Management, and Pharmacovigilance
